Training Program July 2014

Hi all! I thought I would share my current ‘recovery’ program as I work to resolve the bulging disc in my lumbar spine in time for my next sprint triathlon in September. It involves a LOT of swimming and pilates….

Mondays: 5:15am-7:15am GT Performance Squad Swim Session, 4:30pm-5:30pm Pilates with Bekky from Spectrum Healthcare

Tuesdays: 5:30am – 7am Pilates at home followed by 1hr Wind Trainer Session on the bike, spinning for cadence with little resistance

Wednesdays: 5:15am-7:15am GT Performance Squad Swim Session, 6pm -7pm Pilates followed by short, easy Track Running Session with Jodie at Top Notch Performance and Health

Thursdays: 5:30am -6am Pilates at home, 4pm -6pm Pilates followed by easy 20-30km Ride with Velocipede or REST

Fridays: 5:15am-7:15am GT Performance Squad Swim Session, 6pm-6:30pm Pilates at home

Saturdays: Pilates at home followed by 30-40km easy flat Ride

Sundays: 30min easy flat Run
